2 More Weeks

2 more weeks and i will pass out from BMT!

Field camp was a killer. Couldn't bath for 6 days, extreme weather conditions, slept in mud water, shivering while sleeping.

If you think its really a easy feat, nobody ask for your comments.

Oh ya. Wei Jian went australia for a month. Hope everything goes well for him man.

I actually forgot Jason's birthday until he himself told me. I'm fucked up. Gonna celebrate a belated one for him asap.

Anyway, I really lost lots of weight ever since i went in army. Damn. Becoming skinnier and skinnier by the day.

Army

Army = Atrociously Robbed My Youth

Thought out by me when I was marching. The worst thing about army is that you feel like a prisoner, freedom being taken away, trapped in a secluded island.

Then, you are given insufficient time to bath properly. They constantly ask you to change clothes here and there. And you start bathing yourself in your own sweat from morning to night. So much so that by the end of second week, everyone practically smells the same.

Being inside for 2 weeks seriously feels like 2 years. Not exaggerating or anything. You also have to face those 'wayang' people trying to act like a leader.

However, our beds are all spring mattresses and our food are pretty nice. Guess its an benefit already.

Anyway, happy belated 21st birthday to my gf. Couldn't spend it with her cos i was trapped inside. Poor thing.

Worries

Worry about my gf returning home late, her safety.

Worry about having to discontinue training, my martial arts.

Worry about the uncertainties inside, my camp.

Gone to serve the nation

I'm off. Off to tekong.

Mixed feelings about this. Reluctance to leave everything here.

But as a patriotic Singaporean, I have to. Haha.

Happy Advanced Bday to GF!

To celebrate my gf's birthday in advanced, I brought her to A Famosa for a holiday before my army.

It was a pretty nice place i think. I mean, who gets to touch the tiger, eagle, pony? Who gets to ride the horse? Who gets to be surrounded by sheep and has their hoof mark on your groin?

I hope she enjoyed it too! That's the best i can do for her anyway. =)

True love is inexistent?

As a wonderful boyfriend, I wanted to get the hello kitty for gf by eating happy meal instead of something filling. Barry wanted to get that for a girl too. So, he came over to my workplace, waiting for me to eat together.
While waiting for me to knock off, we had this interesting conversation which I feel like blogging out.
I was saying I had this female customer who was quite cute but had a not-very-matching husband...



Barry: Its like that one ma. There's no true love in this world. Its either the looks, the money (cash, car, bungalow, etc) or that guy is really really a very good man.

Me: Really meh? There's something called "chemistry" ma. Like that not counted as true love meh?

Barry: You see one dua pui (fatty) will have chemistry or not? See already faster siam liao lor!

Me: ....

Why people should take up Judo. LOL!

All guys will take judo if the lessons are all like this. Even it means just getting thrown. haha.

Power of Bargaining

This post is a tribute to Mr Chia Jun Ping, one of my best friends. He is the one who SMS-ed me this when I told him he's good at bargaining with people. As usual, it was damn funny.

1) When you're interested in something, do not say "I'm interested." Just act interested but don't mention you are.

2) Ask and keep asking. Make requests. Rules can be bent. We are customers and we have the power to do what we want.

3) Make the victim understand you have other options as well. You can always buy from others.

4) Compare prices with him.

5) Give them a budget to work with. Restrict, constraint them to your budget.

6) Free gifts. If you can't get a lower rate, go for freebies. Understand its easier for them to give rather than cut price normally cos to us, this item may cost $100 but it might only be $20 for them. (pros like me will cut price and go for freebies at the same time) lol

7) Act poor. No need to explain.

Planning for a birthday celebration isn't exactly my forte. Tried my best though.

So for the day, we planned a limo private party for him, followed by red wine at a bar. Pictures speak louder than words.

Adapting to a school-less life

Starting from this week, it has been working from 2.30pm to 9.30pm every weekdays.

And I thought I will have lots of time to do my own stuffs. I literally slept to 1.30pm! And I am still falling asleep at work. Guess I'm compensating for all the sleep I've lost for the past years.

On a side note, have you watched the Aibi commercial on the tv? I think its damn scary for men to have tummy la! Seriously, i think my gf will dump me for that. =(

And they came up with this Slendertone thing. I do know that Aibi is not a very good brand (cos I'm working in this line), but it seems really attractive to sit down do nothing and tone your tummy!

I don't think I need it YET. But, can the inventor of this thing improve it more so that in case when I need it, its more effective already? =D

A New Beginning

This marks a new beginning.

A new phase of my life after my tertiary education.

Nowadays, people are always too rushed to pause. So much so that they miss all the beautiful things that are in front of them. This is also the reason why i thought of this url. To write down all the things I will be going through. And remember them when I look back in my archive.
